1. About us

ouslabel.com is operated by [OUS LABEL LIMITED], a company registered in England and Wales under company number [NUMBER], with its registered office at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (“OUS Label”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We are not VAT registered.

You can contact us by email at [hello@ouslabel.com] or using the contact form on our website. We aim to reply within 2 working days.

2. These terms

These terms apply to every order you place with us through ouslabel.com. Please read them before placing an order. They tell you who we are, how we sell products to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem, and other important information. We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.

These terms are for consumers buying for personal use. Nothing in them affects your legal rights as a consumer.

3. Your order and our contract

  • You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
  • When you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging it. This does not mean we have accepted your order.
  • Our acceptance takes place, and a contract between us is formed, when we email you to confirm your order (order confirmation).
  • If we cannot accept your order, for example because a product is unavailable, there is an error in the price or description, or we cannot deliver to your address, we will tell you and will not charge you. If you have already paid, we will refund you in full.
  • Each order has an order number. Please quote it whenever you contact us about your order.

4. Our products

  • Product images are for illustration. We make every effort to show colours accurately, but the colour you see depends on your screen, and slight variations in colour, print placement and sizing can occur between items.
  • Size information is shown on each product page and in our size guide. Measurements are approximate and may vary by up to [2 cm].
  • Our products are made in small runs and produced after you order. Dispatch times are shown on each product page and in our Delivery Policy.

5. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable taxes. As we are not VAT registered, no UK VAT is added.
  • Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay and are set out in our Delivery Policy.
  • Orders to destinations outside the UK may be subject to import duties, taxes and handling fees charged on arrival. These are payable by you unless we show otherwise at checkout.
  • If we discover an obvious error in the price of a product after you have ordered, we will contact you to ask whether you want to continue at the correct price or cancel. We are not required to supply at an obviously incorrect price.
  • We accept payment by debit and credit card and digital wallets (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) through our payment provider Stripe, and OUS Label gift cards. Payment is taken when you place your order.
  • Discount codes can only be used in line with their stated conditions, cannot be exchanged for cash and one code may be used per order unless stated otherwise.

6. Delivery

We deliver to the countries listed at checkout. Estimated dispatch and delivery times, costs and what to do if your order is late, damaged or lost are set out in our Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms. The products are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to the address you gave us. You own the products once we have received payment in full.

If delivery is delayed by events outside our control we will contact you as soon as possible and take steps to minimise the effect. If there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.

7. Your right to cancel (change of mind)

You have a legal right to cancel your contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate, other than the carrier) receive the goods. Where you order several items delivered separately, it ends 14 days after you receive the last item. Full details, including how to cancel, return conditions and refunds, are in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

8. If there is a problem with your product

We are under a legal duty to supply products that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If your product is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us at [hello@ouslabel.com] with your order number and photos. Your rights include:

  • up to 30 days from delivery: a full refund (the short-term right to reject);
  • within 6 months: repair or replacement, and if this is not possible or fails, a full refund in most cases;
  • up to 6 years (5 years in Scotland): if the product does not last a reasonable length of time you may be entitled to a partial refund.

See our Returns and Refunds Policy for how we handle faulty items. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. For further information visit Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) or call 0808 223 1133.

9. Our rights to end the contract

We may end the contract and refund you in full if you do not provide information we reasonably need to deliver your order (for example a complete delivery address) within a reasonable time of us asking for it, or if we cannot supply a product for reasons outside our control. We will tell you promptly by email.

10. Our responsibility for loss or damage

  • If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen or if both we and you knew it might happen when the contract was made.
  • We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products.
  • We only supply products for domestic and private use. We have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

11. Intellectual property

All designs, slogans, artwork, logos, photography and content on our website and products are owned by or licensed to OUS Label. Buying a product does not give you any right to reproduce our designs or use our trade marks.

12. Personal information

We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

13. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at [hello@ouslabel.com]. We will try to resolve it quickly and fairly. If we cannot resolve it, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution provider. [We are not obliged to use, and do not currently subscribe to, an ADR scheme.]

14. Other important terms

  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will tell you if this happens and ensure it does not affect your rights.
  • This contract is between you and us. No other person has any rights to enforce any of its terms.
  • If a court finds part of these terms unlawful, the rest will continue in force.
  • If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do, this does not prevent us from taking steps against you later.
  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live in another country, nothing in these terms deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
